Thirumoorthy Hill is a part of Western Ghats about 88 km from Coimbatore. This hill is also a part of the Indra Gandhi national park and has a huge number of plants and animals living in it. The important landmarks in the Thirumoorthy hill are Universal Peace Foundation, Thirumoorthy dam, Thirumoorthy waterfall and Thirumoorthy Temple. Thirumoorthy Temple Road is the major road which passes through this hill.

It is situated 50 Kms from Pollachi and 20 kms from Udumalaipet (Udumalpet) on the highway from Palani to Coimbatore. Like other hills in Anamalai range, this place heaven for the hikers and natural lovers. If you want to hike around Thirumoorthy hills, you should get permission from the forest department.

Amanalingeswarar Temple (Thirumoorthy Temple) is situated at the foot of the Thirumoorthy hills adjoining the Thirumoorthy

The lead deity is called Amanalingeswarar. It is an old temple with beautiful setting and some rare sculptures with a spacious front hall. In the temple, Lord Shiva graces in the names of the Mummoorthy Andavar, Tirumuthi Andavar and Amanalingeswarar. This is a cave temple on a small hill. All the Lords grace as Swayambumurthis.

Vaideki Falls is a waterfall situated in the outskirts of Coimbatore city about 35 km (22 mi) from Coimbatore. The nearest village is Narasipuram. This waterfall used to be called "Tholayira Murthi Kandi", in Tamil Tholayiram stands for the number nine hundred, word Murthy has several interpretations, one is The Lord, another means Manifestation. Kandi is the word for (water)fall. The waterfall derives the present name after the movie "Vaithegi Kathirunthal" by director R. Sundarrajan. The location is now a popular tourist spot in the City of Coimbatore. It is not well connected to transport facilities.
Nowadays visitors are not allowed in order to protect wildlife which is abundant in that area.

This falls is located near Narasipuram village near Thondamuthur, Coimbatore. There is direct bus from Coimbatore Bus Stand to Narasipuram (1hr drive). From Narasipuram you need walk a couple of kms to reach this Vaidehi falls.

Vaidehi Falls comes under the forest jurisdiction and hence proper permission is to be sought from the concerned authorities before entering this area. Since there are plenty of wild animals, it is advised that visitors take the assistance of forest guards and go along with them for safe passage and return. It involves quite a distance of walking inside the jungle in order to reach this beautiful place of interest. The falls is very beautiful and has a naturally formed slope.

Topslip is located at 2554 Feet (774 Meter) above sea level on the Anamalai mountain range. Distance between Coimbatore and Topslip is 61 KM that is 38.4 miles.

It is popularly known as Anamalai Hills. It is a small place in Anaimalai Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary that lies in the Coimbatore District of Tamilnadu at the southern part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Separated from the Nilgiri Hills by the Palghat Gap on the north, the Park is contiguous to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) to its west and to the Eravikulam National Park (Kerala) and Chinnar Wild life sanctuary.

Topslip is about 37 km from Pollachi, the nearest town, and 9 km from the village of Sethumadai, Topslip can be reached by the only in road travels. In Topslip the vacation can be enjoyed by staying at Tree Hut, Elephant raid, Forest tracking and enjoy in watching all kind of wild animals and beauty full birds.

A popular tourist draw, Kovai Kutralam comes under the Siruvani mountain range in Coimbatore. Located on the Western Ghats, the cascading waterfalls form a picture perfect backdrop for spending some wonderful time with your loved ones in nature's lap.

It is located on the western ghat mountain range that lies to the west of this city at a distance of about 35 kms from Coimbatore.

The siruvani dam is just above this water fall and this place is under the control of forest department. Permission has to be sought from them to visit this Kovai Kutralam Falls. Limited bus service is available from the city and this area is out of bounds after 5 pm.

கோவைக் குற்றாலம் அருவி தமிழ்நாட்டில், கோயம்புத்தூர் நகரின் மேற்கே 35 கி.மீ தொலைவில் மேற்குத் தொடர்ச்சி மலையில் சிறுவாணி மலைகளின் கிழக்குச் சரிவில் அடிவாரத்துக்கு சற்று மேலே அடர்ந்த மலைப்பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

இந்த அருவி கரடு முரடான ஆபத்தான வழியில் ஓடி வரும் ஒரு சிறிய அருவியாகும். சற்று அகலமாகவும், குறைந்த உயரத்திலிருந்து விழும் பகுதியில் குளிக்கும் பகுதி உள்ளது.

இந்த அருவி சிறுவாணி மலைப்பகுதியில் கிழக்குச் சரிவில் நொய்யல் ஆற்றை உருவாக்கும் சிற்றாறுகளில் ஒன்றான பெரியாற்றில் இந்த அருவி உள்ளது. சிறுவாணி மலையின் கிழக்குச் சரிவில் உருவாவதால் சிறுவாணி அருவி எனவும் அழைக்கப்பட்டாலும் இந்த அருவிக்கு சிறுவாணி ஆற்றுடனோ சிறுவாணி அணையுடனோ தொடர்பு ஏதுமில்லை.



கோடை காலத்தில் பொதுவாக நீரோட்டம் குறைவாக இருக்கும். இந்த அருவி இயற்கை எழிலுக்கும் குளிர்ச்சியான நீரோட்டத்திற்கும் புகழ் பெற்றது.

கோவையிலிருந்து சாடிவயல் வரை பேருந்து தனியார் ஊர்திகளில் செல்லலாம். சாடிவயல் வனத்துறை சோதனைச் சாவடியில் கட்டணம் 60 ரூபாய் செலுத்தி அருவிக்கு செல்ல அனுமதி பெறலாம். அங்கிருந்து அடிவாரம் வரை வனத்துறை மூலம் இயக்கப்படும் வண்டியில் மட்டுமே செல்ல முடியும். அடிவாரத்திலிருந்து ஏறத்தாழ ஒரு கிலோமீட்டர் மலைப்பகுதியில் நடந்து சென்று அருவியை அடையலாம்.பாதுகாக்கப்பட்டட கானகப்பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ளதால் மாலை 3 மணிக்குப் பிறகு பயணிகளுக்கு அனுமதி கிடையாது.

வெயில் காலங்களில் இப்பகுதி நல்ல குளிர்ச்சியான காற்றையும், குளிர்ந்த நீரையும் தருவதால் பொதுமக்கள் சுற்றுலா செல்ல ஏற்றதாக விளங்குகிறது.

இது கோவையின் முக்கியமான சுற்றுலாத் தலங்களில் ஒன்று. இங்கே பலவகையான பறவைகளையும் விலங்குகளையும் ஒருங்கே காண முடியும். இப்பகுதியில் குரங்குகள் நிறைந்து காணப்படுகின்றன. கோவையிலிருந்து சாடிவயல் வரை அரசுப் பேருந்து செல்கிறது. சாடி வயல் வனத்துறை சோதனைச் சாவடியைக் கடந்து அரை மணி நேரம் மலைப்பகுதியில் நடந்தால் கோவை குற்றாலத்தை அடையலாம்

கோவையிலிருந்து சிறுவாணி மற்றும் சாடிவயல் செல்லும் பேருந்துகள் (59C, 59, 14E) இங்கு செல்கின்றன.
